Restorative Practice Course
By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of the theories and practice of Restorative Practice, including:
- Working across different contexts (team meetings, 1:1s, supported conversations)
- Frameworks for effective relationships and communication
- Skills in de-escalating tensions, resolving conflict, compassionate challenge and fair process
The course is highly practical, providing simple techniques to:
- • Express yourself effectively
- • Hold restorative conversations
- • Deliver restorative circles
- • Facilitate low-level interventions
Course Content
- Day 1: Restorative principles and framework; I-statements and feedback
- Day 2: Challenging conversations and circle work
- Day 3: Facilitation of supported conversations

Restorative Justice Course
Course Overview
This course offers all the skills you need to become a competent and confident RJ practitioner. We have years of experience of delivering interventions in all sectors and bring this directly into the training.
The programme is highly experiential and trauma-informed, covering:
- • Risk assessments
- • Interviewing techniques
- • Facilitation of in-person meetings
- • Tools and approaches for effective RJ practice
The training is interactive, practical, and designed to give participants the confidence and competence to deliver RJ cases through to their appropriate outcome.
All participants receive electronic resources and a comprehensive training manual.
Accreditation: The course has been accredited by the Restorative Justice Council (RJC), UK.
Who should attend?
Participants from all sectors are welcome. This is the ideal training if you would like to apply for a role within the RJ field, particularly within the Criminal Justice System.

Complex and Sensitive Course
Course Overview
This two-day course is predominantly practical and covers:
- • Working through detailed risk assessments
- • Interview techniques
- • Navigating the Criminal Justice System (CJS)
- • Partnership working
- • Managing complex and sensitive cases through to an appropriate restorative conclusion
- • Shuttle work
- • Restorative letters
- • The complexities of face-to-face meetings
- • Outcome agreements
- • Post-intervention planning
- • Exit strategies
All participants receive a certificate on completion.
All participants receive electronic resources and a comprehensive training manual.
Who should attend?
Prerequisite: You must be facilitating cases & trained as a qualified Restorative Justice practitioner prior to completing this training.

Train The Trainer
Course Overview
Train The Trainer is an online 3-day course, followed by trainer observation of delivery online post-training. It is an accredited course with the RJC.
We offer TTT in:
- • Restorative Practice - broad application of restorative approaches
- • Restorative Justice facilitation - formal RJ facilitation
These are separate courses, both 3 days.
Prerequisites
It is necessary to be trained in the course before you join:
- • For Restorative Justice TTT: A certified RJ Facilitator training from any provider
- • For Restorative Practice TTT: Our own Restorative Practice course
